David Daniel Bowes

David Daniel Bowes began piano at age 5 and violin at age 7. He received a full five-year scholarship on each instrument at age 17. He fell in love with the viola during college, received an Aspen Music Festival Fellowship four summers, and studied the release of tensions in string playing with Kato Havas in London. Other teachers include Lillian Fuchs and Karen Tuttle, Sigiswald Kuijken and Monica Huggett. He is also a Licensed Realtor in SF, working for Zephyr Real Estate.
