Bio: Since 1999, Michael Colbruno has served as Vice President of Government Affairs for Clear Channel Outdoor/Northern California. His role includes all government and public affairs operations in Northern California, as well as coordination with their legal and real estate divisions.
Michael came to Clear Channel from the public sector where he worked as Deputy Director for Legislative Affairs for San Francisco Mayor Willie L. Brown, Jr. His role for the Mayor included managing all state budget and legislative matters, as well as serving as liaison to the Board of Supervisors. During that time, Michael took a year off to serve as Press Secretary for the successful San Francisco 49ers stadium campaign. Prior to that, he served as Chief Legislative Aide to Carole Migden at both the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and in the California State Assembly.
Michael is the former Chair of the Chabot Space & Science Center in Oakland and Vice Chair of OakPAC. He is also the National Director for the California State Outdoor Advertising Association, served on the Board of Directors for Equality California, chaired the Crytosporidium Task Force in San Francisco, curated two architectural exhibits in San Francisco and chaired the Taste of Oakland event for the Oakland Convention & Visitors Bureau.
From 1998 to 2003, he was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for building the World's Largest Caesar Salad. He is actively involved in local, state and national Democratic Party politics and was a delegate to the 2004 Democratic Party National Convention. In his spare time he likes to garden and travel the world to hear his favorite operas.

Favorite instrumenal recording: PBO's Corelli's Concerti Grossi with Nic McGegan conducting - he owns two copies, which have been in his home and work stereos without interruption for 10 years.
Favorite vocal recording: Maria Callas, Bellini's "Casta Diva" with Tullio Serafin conducting. In addition, PBO turned him on to Schubert's "Songs for Male Chorus"
